All About Me

Hi! I'm Danielle Nelson and I am a K-3 GT instructor. I have been teaching at Hart since 2017 and have been an educator since 2004. I have taught 3rd, 4th and 5th grades over that time in 3 school districts. I attended Texas Tech University in my hometown of Lubbock where I received my bachelor's in Business Administration.  I went on to pursue a career in education and earned my Masters's in Educational Administration from Lamar in Beaumont, Texas.   I have been married to my wonderful husband Michael since 1996 and together we have 12 wonderful blessings, 9 of which were birthed by me.  We have also been blessed with 4 beautiful grandchildren and am excited to welcome a new little blessing this November.  We spend most of our weekends shuffling our crazy crew around and spending time together as a family.   I love to read, watch movies with the family, and dabble in crafts. I am excited for another great year at Hart!
