Courtney Anderson

Hello! My name is Courtney Anderson. I love being part of the Hart family, and am thrilled to be your child’s Kindergarten teacher this year! It will be a fun year full of learning and new adventures, and I can’t wait for our Kindergarten journey to begin together!

I graduated from the University of North Texas with a degree in Elementary Education, and have spent my entire teaching career in Kindergarten through second grade classrooms. I began working in Lovejoy in 2019, and quickly became a very proud Lovejoy Leopard.  It is such a joy to get to welcome our newest Hart Leopards into Kindergarten, and watch them grow into proud Leopards too!

My wonderful husband, Derrick, and I have three amazing kids. Our oldest daughter, Darby, is 16, and will be a sophomore at Lovejoy High School. Our middle daughter, Cooper, is 15, and will be a freshman at Lovejoy High School. Our youngest, our son Dane, is 13, and will be in 7th grade at Willow Springs. When I am not teaching, you can usually find me cheering on the sidelines while watching my kids compete in their favorite sports! In our free time, we enjoy going to the lake, riding bikes, watching movies, family game nights, and exploring our hometown together!

I can’t wait to embark on this exciting Kindergarten journey with you this year as we watch your child grow in every way possible. I believe children learn best when they feel loved and supported. Therefore, by establishing meaningful relationships, my goal is to instill a love for learning in each student who walks through my door! I am very passionate about Kindergarten and feel extremely fortunate and thankful that I will be spending my days with your sweet child! I am so excited to get to know you and your child this year!
