Courtney Burkhart

Hi, my name is Courtney Burkhart. I'm thrilled to be your child's third grade RLA teacher. I know this will be a great year! I'm am so excited to be in 3rd grade at HART Elementary!

 

I knew at an early age I wanted to be a teacher. I majored in Elementary Education with a specialization in reading at Baylor University. I went on to teach in Plano ISD for thirteen years teaching 1st and 3rd grade. From there I taught 2nd grade in Highland Park ISD for three years. The last four years I've been in Lovejoy ISD teaching 3rd grade. I feel blessed to have a job that is something I love to do. I truly love coming to work each and every day. I love working with children and watching them grow!

 

I currently live in Lucas, Texas with my husband and 4 year old daughter. I love spending time with my family, friends, and being outdoors. I'm a big sports fan and love to cheer on the Baylor Bears and Green Bay Packers. I love being active, being outdoors, and being involved at church and the community.
