Brenda Minix: Fourth Grade Math/Science Teacher
I am super excited to be a Hart Leopard! I have been at Hart since 2021 teaching 4th grade, and math and science are my favorite subjects.
Most of my career I have taught third grade math/science, but I have also taught kindergarten and 5th grade math. Teaching is my second career since I was in corporate America before starting a family.
My husband, Tim, and I have been blessed with two awesome kiddos. Our son attended kindergarten in the little red school house, and then the next year both of our children opened Hart Elementary as a brand new school. Troy and Amy graduated from Lovejoy High School so we have many wonderful memories being a part of several Lovejoy school activities including football games, scouts, musicals, and other events.
Tim and I became proud Aggies by tuition since Troy and Amy graduated from Texas A&M. We soon developed a love for Aggie football. We also love to travel, especially to the beach, watch great movies, and play corn hole with friends. When our kiddos come home we love to cook together since we are all foodies. It is fun to create and share new recipes!
