Welcome to Hart Elementary
Joe V. Hart proudly opened its doors to the Lovejoy ISD community in 2000. The school’s namesake comes from a local farmer and carpenter, Mr. Hart, whose notable projects in the Lucas area had a profound impact on the community including, the Forest Grove Christian Church, the Forest Grover Store, which he owned and operated, and the rebuilding of Lovejoy School after the impact of a tornado 1958. Mr. Hart served on the school board for 22 years where his dedication and service continue on as Lovejoy ISD remains a thriving district.

Our staff, students, and parents model our Leopard P.R.I.D.E. values everyday as we partner together to create excellence in all of our experiences, both in and out of the classroom.
