Kelsie Hebert

Hello my fellow Leopards! My name is Mrs. Hebert and I am so excited to be teaching ERLA in 4th grade this year! My journey as a Leopard began in the crazy year of 2020 as a math/science teacher. I am over the top excited to return to my passion as a reading and language arts teacher. It's an area of specialty I chose at Texas Woman's University. I hope my passion for literature will be contagious!

After graduating from Texas Woman's University I taught 2nd and 4th Grade in Richardson. I took some "time off" to raise my 3 sons and care for my mom and dad. During that time I continued with my passion of teaching by working at my sons' preschool, substitue teaching, and tutoring math and reading for Richardson ISD in the Special Education Department. My husband and I were married in the year 2000. I have three awesome boys, and two furry goldendoodles. Our favorite thing to do is travel National Parks and have amazing outdoor adventures. My newest toy, I named Lucy, she is a 4xE Jeep Wrangler! Yes, the E means it is part Electric...practicing what I teach!

I am blessed to be liviing out my dream. My classroom is my happy place and I thank you so much for entrusting your beautiful children to me.
