This exciting new tradition will feature colorful floats, fine arts performances, athletic teams, and student groups from Lovejoy High School. Bring your family, friends, and Lovejoy spirit to help us cheer on the Leopards!

📚🐾 Hart Elementary had a special morning as Lovejoy student-athletes and Ready-Set-Teach participants joined for Reading with the Leopards!

Students enjoyed stories, laughter, and time with role models from baseball, softball, volleyball, wrestling, football, and Ready-Set-Teach. A true celebration of learning, leadership, and Leopard pride! ❤️🖤

4th graders exploring in math the concept of area through cooperative learning with the integration of recording the notice and wonderings to determine the learning objective.

It was awesome seeing Ms. Hicks in action modeling a writing mini lesson in 1st grade with a teach piece of students using words to create sentences on a topic of their choice. She modeled and conferred with students who were more than excited to share their writing.

This morning is filled with learning across Hart. 3rd grade students were engaged in the drafting process of writers workshop with a focus on using details, adding transitions, or developing a good lead. 3rd graders were also using stop and jots to respond to their books during independent reading.

What a great first day back with our Hart teachers. Our day was full of learning activities that were modeled for application into their classrooms, including creating treatment agreements, layered reward systems, interactive learning through Kahoot, and revisiting our why. Our staff was also treated to amazing cookies provided by a parent's bakery. Thank you for making today special.
